I am not a mathematician. I am an Economist but I still don’t know much about Chaos Theory. I do know a little something about Game Theory and Murphy’s Law. With that being said, let us continue… Little things annoy me about time travel films that screenwriters overlook. Like loose ends that never get dealtContinue reading “Chaos Theory and Time Travel Films”

Immigration Nation (2020)
Netflix Documentary Series After watching the first two episodes I was driving into work and thinking, ” who would I be if my parents never came here?” I would certainly be skinny, married with children. I wouldn’t be educated. Would I be happier? Maybe. In the second episode a teen has to make a decisionContinue reading “Immigration Nation (2020)”
K-Dramas!
When I should be focusing on my schoolwork I am instead spending my days and nights engulfed in Korean soap operas. Why? Who knows. A coworker recommended a show a while back but I wasn’t interested. Then I got into BTS. Everything changed after that. I came across Boys Over Flowers (2009) and was immediatelyContinue reading “K-Dramas!”
School Funds & Films
I received my financial aid letter from my college. Due to my income the only thing I was offered was loans. I expect to be taking out some loans for grad school next year so I turned down the offer. I would rather pay for the next two terms out of my own pocket. AnotherContinue reading “School Funds & Films”
The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018)
Director: Susanna Fogel Producer: BRON Studios I saw this movie the other night over Zoom. I could not get over Mila’s ugly Hawaiian shirt. Why was she wearing it? Totally okay if it was part of a work uniform but you can’t not pull off a Hawaiian shirt and khakis without explaining why. Sam HeughanContinue reading “The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018)”
Jennifer’s Body (2009)
Director: Karyn Kusama….Producer: Fox Atomic This should have been a hit. Megan Fox was hot, Amanda Seyfriend knew how to act and Diablo Cody wrote the script. I think Megan Fox is just too hot to be taken seriously. I do like that the rock band, desperate to get famous, sacrifice a “virgin” to theContinue reading “Jennifer’s Body (2009)”
The Woman in the Window (2020) trailer
If you are at familiar with the works of Alfred Hitchcock then you will immediately recognize the story in this trailer. Person stuck at home sees a crime committed in the opposite building. Then proceeds to solve said crime. Yup, a complete ripoff of REAR WINDOW. I am not going to bother seeing it.
The Grey (2011)
Finally got around to seeing this film in one sitting. It is hard to see an Irishman questioning his faith, regardless of what is going on in his life. So what if your plane crashes and you have to run to avoid being eaten by wolves?!
Brightburn (2019)
Director: David Yarovesky Producer: Screen Gems Have you seen the first Superman movie? Have you seen The Omen? If you have said yes to either question then you don’t need to see this movie. Put those two films together and you get Brightburn–the story of Clark Kent but if he was evil.
Christine (1983)
Director: John Carpenter…Producer: Columbia Pictures A rad, classic car is all a guy needs to grow some balls. Big balls.
