Directed by Larry Clark Produced by StudioCanal Not all homicides are unjustified. Based on a true story.

Director: Alexandre Aja Producer: Paramount Pictures Better than Sharknado. I don’t like gushy, “I believe in you” kind of movies. Not far into this film you realize that is what this is. If you are stuck in a flooding basement with two gators and your college kid, are you going to be talking about swimContinue reading “Crawl (2019)”

I didn’t think it would work the second time. I did not prep the second time. I finished the test so I feel relieved, but I will most likely take it again.

I had to a film review assignment for my Chicano/Latino Studies so this is what I picked. Got an A+. Here is the feedback I got from my professor :”Your summary of the film was concise and, your discussion of its themes was good. Like loose ends that never get dealtContinue reading “Chaos Theory and Time Travel Films”

Netflix Documentary Series After watching the first two episodes I was driving into work and thinking, ” who would I be if my parents never came here?” I would certainly be skinny, married with children. I wouldn’t be educated. Would I be happier? Maybe. In the second episode a teen has to make a decisionContinue reading “Immigration Nation (2020)”

When I should be focusing on my schoolwork I am instead spending my days and nights engulfed in Korean soap operas. Why? Who knows. A coworker recommended a show a while back but I wasn’t interested. Then I got into BTS. Everything changed after that. I came across Boys Over Flowers (2009) and was immediatelyContinue reading “K-Dramas!”

I received my financial aid letter from my college. Due to my income the only thing I was offered was loans. I expect to be taking out some loans for grad school next year so I turned down the offer. I would rather pay for the next two terms out of my own pocket. AnotherContinue reading “School Funds & Films”
