There are 25 IMAX theaters in the United States. My hometown Portland, Oregon is fortunate enough to have one and it looks like everyone showed up. So to everyone that isn’t fortunate enough to live in a city with IMAX I say “neener neener neener, we have IMAX and you don’t. You suck.”
Casting is stacked. Matt Damon is the perfect actor to play Odysseus. He is definitely getting an Oscar nomination from this role and will very likely win. Robert Pattinson is fucking hot. Tom Holland will look young for the next 30 years. Zendaya is Athena and she rocks. Lupita Nyong’o as Helen of Troy was an excellent choice. Cool to see Elliott Page in a movie. Just to name a few of the big names.
Christopher Nolan is saving Hollywood, one film at a time. I love that he finds actors he wants to work with and sticks with them for his projects while slowly adding in new actors. Martin Scorsese does it too and I love it.
