Where did your name come from?
My father gave me the name Erica. Erica is the feminine version of Eric, it means Ruler of All Things. I don’t think he knew that when he picked it. There are a few Ericas in my family.
My last name is Martinez. Ez means “son of” and first part is Martin so Martinez means “son of Martin”.
When I have a son (si Dios quiere) I will name him Alfonso after King Alfonso the Wise. He lived in the 12th or 13th century Castile/Spain area and he put together a committee of language scholars to create a language that was easy to learn, easy to write, and easy to read. They came up with…(drum roll please) Spanish!
