Fall semester: the discussion section of your memo is worth 60%. If you let any part of the assignment be shit, don’t let it be that. The professors are not going to tell you what they want until after the assignment is turned in. Outline because they make you. Midterms are important but also a waste of time. Don’t bother networking here if you don’t plan on living here. Study where you want to, not where they assign you.
Spring semester: last semester of taking legal analysis & writing, lucky you. Outline if you want to. Don’t drink Saturday because you plan on studying on Sunday. Get a cat.
Last thing: Professors are not teachers. They do not have degrees in education. They are experts in their fields. They just expect you to understand them from the beginning.
