Passed my 1L classes, went to Cancun for four days (rained everyday for which I was grateful), and ordered nearly all my textbooks for next semester. Already cracked open the textbook for my Immigration class–which I plan to do Pro Bono.
Travel tip: Reserve a taxi ahead of time if traveling to Mexico. Such a ripoff leaving the airport. $60 USD for a six-minute ride (six minutes because he took the long way around the airport) to our hotel. No, there is no Uber or Lyft allowed at the airport. They don’t rip you off when you are headed to the airport, only when arriving. That is one reason I prefer traveling the west side of Mexico because my extended family knows a cab driver and he takes us the whole six-hour journey to our town regardless if we fly into Guadalajara or Puerto Vallarta.
