Season 2 was filmed in September 2019 and aired in January 2020. The timing was so impeccable because in this episode when Otis (Sex therapist extraordinaire) and Eric (bff) arrive at school for their first day, teenagers are literally running around wearing face masks. Turns out there is an STI outbreak (Chlamydia) going around and people don’t know how it spreads and who first spread it. One girl asks Otis if she should put bleach on her vagina. No! For the rest of the episode most people are acting like they are dealing with an epidemic–on a high school level.
Otis doesn’t want to restart the sex therapy but when a girl in the choir is bullied because she is suspected for being the school’s Typhoid Mary, Otis and Eric track down the actual culprit by going through a list of sexual partners in the choir.
Highlight of this episode: an epic 2-on-1 catfight on the school’s lawn where Otis steps in to break it up and gets punched. Cut to Otis sitting in the hallway with tampons up his nose, plugging up a nosebleed and talking to the culprit of the Chlamydia outbreak.
So mask up, wrap up your junk when you do the dirty deed, and carry tampons in case of nosebleeds.
