I don’t want to jinx myself but I am not overwhelmed with schoolwork. That might be a problem. I do the reading the night before class and I get the assignments turned in on time. I don’t “study” the way I should. I read the text, understand it and then move on.
I am the one in class with my hand raised, ready to give the right answer. Some of these people just realized they wanted to be lawyers–I knew since the mid 1990s. Top that.
It certainly helps that I have an Associate’s in Paralegal Studies. Civil Procedure class is just a review. Legal Writing? Please. Done and done. Legal Research? Zzz give me a challenge. Torts and Contracts is just reading. Can’t wait until Criminal Law. Blood and guts can make anything and anyone interesting.
